The 2020 Grand Mesa tent, a reliable backpacking companion for decades, has been refreshed and updated to be even grander. It's now easier, more affordable, and awesome—just like your favorite freeze-dried meal, but without the heartburn.
The 2020 updates include Kelty Quick Corners to keep the poles in place during setup, an EZ-Zip vestibule with fully taped seams, and a Shark Mouth carry bag for easier pack-up and storage.
The tent is made with dependable materials, including 2 compact folding DAC pressfit aluminum poles, weather-resistant and long-lasting 68D polyester tent floor and rainfly fabric, and fully seam-taped construction. It also features color-coded clip and fly attachments for simple set-up.
The freestanding, lightweight design allows for the tent to be pitched and then moved around to find the best campsite. The lightweight materials contribute to a weight of 4lbs. 1oz for the 2-person size or 6lbs. 13oz for the 4-person size.
